Mission
The mission of the Metropolitan St. Louis Taxicab Commission is
to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality transportation to the citizens
and visitors of the St. Louis area. The Commission is dedicated
to providing fair and equitable authority over the provision of
licensing, regulation, and enforcement of vehicle for hire services
that will contribute to the growth and image of the St. Louis Region.
Notices
Driver Licensing Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (Drivers arriving after 4:00pm will not be processed on the same day)
Other Business: The MTC office is accessible by APPOINTMENT ONLY on Tuesday and Thursday. No business will be conducted on a walk-in basis.
The office will no longer accept personal checks for payment of fees. The only form of payment will be money order or CCN holder business check.
The
next PUBLIC meeting of the Commission is now scheduled for
Wednesday, September 29th, 2010 at 10:00am, at MTC Headquarters,
2628 Delmar Boulevard.

AT THE JANUARY 28TH, 2010 MONTHLY COMMISSION MEETING THE MTC BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AMMENDED AND APPROVED VEHICLES FOR HIRE CODE VERSION 8.3 WHICH WENT INTO EFFECT ON MARCH 15TH, 2010. THE NEW CODE VERSION IS POSTED ON THIS SITE ON THE CODE TAB. ALL CCN HOLDERS ARE REQUIRED UNDER THE NEW CODE TO PROVIDE THEIR DRIVERS WITH A COPY OF THE NEW CODE ALONG WITH FUTURE REVISIONS.

The Metropolitan Taxicab Commission may go into closed session at
this meeting if such action is approved by a majority vote of the
Board members who constitute a quorum, to discuss legal, confidential
or privileged matters under §610.021(1), RSMo 1988 Supp.; leasing,
purchase or sale of real estate under §610.021(2); personnel
actions under §610.021(3); discussions regarding negotiations
with employee groups under §610.021(9); personnel records or
applications under §610.021(13); or records under §610.021(14)
which are otherwise protected from disclosure by law; or confidential
or privileged communications with the District’s auditor,
including auditor work products under §X610.021(17).
